    Post Recommendation from a friend

I haven't been in the forums recently but I have heard from a friend of mine about how you guys helped him a lot.

He said that he downloaded a few programs that you guys recommended and it work well for him. I addition to Spybot SD, what other programs do you recommend that I download? He can't send me the files so I figured I'd ask you guys myself.

    thanks

PS. the programs had something to do with advanced malware removal.

AVG has recently been detecting trojan horses in the strangest of places...I'm downloading Spybot right now and then I'll start the scan but if it's still there, I'll contact you guys soon, thanks!

Also, in the past month, it started to mysteriously shut down and restart by itself. It's happened thrice this August and it happened again just today when I was downloading the firewall program in the page you recommended.....I was able to finish downloading the others though.

My computer is a pretty "old" one, I think. It's about 5 years old already and we'd had to reinstall windows on it at least 5-6 times due to serious system failure and/or malware. We calculate our pc's age by its relative speed...

I hope you guys have some ideas that may help because hauling the cpu to a computer shop once a year is not a very good experience...

    thanks.
