Default supsav.smss32 Vista boots to black screen

Spybot found supsav.smss32 and said files were in use, but it might be able to fix it after a restart. After restarting, all I get is a black screen. Same with safe mode and last known configuration. Spyhunter is the only thing that comes up over the black screen, but it says it has no definitions, and it fails to update definitions.

Smile In the process of fixing

Okay, I was able to run system restore from the "Repair your computer" thing on the advanced boot menu. I hadn't noticed that before. Neat. I was able to boot, and hopefully I'll be able to take care of this with the removal guide now.
