    Hello,

Did you also try to activate it through the Windows Security Center?

To start the "Security Center" service, use these steps:

    * Click Start, Run and type Services.msc
    * Double-click "Security Center" service from the listing
    * Set the startup type of the service to "Automatic"
    * Start the service by clicking the "Start" button in that applet.

    Best regards

I have same problem too. Windows Security Center doesn't launch for me. I receive an error:
Error 1068. It means that I can't launch it because of service of dependancy or group can not be launched. I know S&D has a connection with Security Center.

I like to launch Security center. When I get that, I like to launch the windows firewall. How can I launch that?

    Hello Rogonow,

You posted in a topic that was started in 2010.

Which version of Spybot do you have and what is the operating system?

    Best regards.
