Unwanted Popups

A few weeks ago I noticed my browsers started showing popups although popups had been turned off. It has now got to the point where my screen is advanced to a new tab filled with garbage. I read through a thread titled "Annoying pop-ups in all browsers in bottom right/left corner" which was orchestrated by ODC but he/she cannot be contacted directly. I have a very similar problem and wish to be lead through to a cure in much the same manner as was anton-ego - the member who asked for help. I am running the latest Firefox and Chrome under Windows 7 Home.

Please refer to the forum FAQ and the instructions in post #2 on how to provide preliminary DDS and aswMBR logs used for analysis.

Then start a new topic providing the logs as shown in that FAQ and a volunteer analyst will advise when available.
