    Default IE6 error during scan

I have a virus in the memory, that SpyBot had detected, and can not remove. I had posted in the maleware form of this problem, but was told run the list of priority scans before posting in that forum. Running the bitdefender scan at about 90% completion, IE6 has a error, and obviously the scan stops. I've downloaded the Guided Help, to me it's just looking for the Pdm.dll error...not showing any other problem. I've gone to Microsoft diagnostics, disabling all the add-on's that they say might cause the problem, and obviously still not fixed. I've stoped the scan, and cleared the cache, durning the scan. Could this virus in the memory be causing this? Here's the virus's that are in the memory, SmartShopper, Mirar, SaferSurfing. Mirar is removed through the scan, but comes back...and yes, the scans are done automatically right after start up. Any suggestions? Thanks! Steve

I suggest that you re-post in the Malware Removal forum and have a qualified malware removal helper assist you. You must follow the instructions posted here:

You will have to upgrade to Spybot 1.4, run the suggested scans (if they can be run), run a HijackThis report and post the appropriate logs in that forum.

For me to post in the malware, I need to go through the mandatory scans before posting. I can't get this computer to complete all the mandatory steps to be legally qualified to post in the malware forum. That's why I posted here! To get through the scan problem I have, so I can post in the malware.
