Scans for only 32 problems

Now i may be being thick but spybot s&d only scans for 32 problems whereas before i'm sure it used to search for over 35k.

I have re-installed 1.4 and completed all the downloads but it still only searches for 32 problems.

Any help would be grately appreciated.

Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced mode > Settings > File Sets.
You will see a list like the following:

• Set/Filename
• Spybot - Search & Destroy - Integrated search for spybots - 29

  • DialerC.sbi - Removes expensive dialers - 106

  • Keyloggers.sbi - Removes keyloggers - 1126
  • KeyloggersC.sbi - Removes keyloggers - 175
  • Malware.sbi - Removes malicious software - 14405
  • MalwareC.sbi - Removes malicious software - 2686
  • PUPS.sbi - Possibly UnPopular Soitware - 3407
  • PUPSC.sbi - Possibly UnPopular Soitware - 53
  • Revision.sbi - Stuff removed for revision - 2
  • Security.sbi - For security leaks - 1102
  • SecuntyC.sbi - For security leaks - 5
  • Spybots.sbi - Removes spying and advertisement software - 5755
  • SpybotsC.sbi - Removes spying and advertisement software - 1944
  • Troians.sbi - Searches for trojan horses - 5873
  • TroiansC.sbi - Searches for trojan horses - 3568
• Usage Tracking - Integrated search for usage tracks - 3
  • Tracks.uti- Search for usage tracks - 2596

Check everything in the list except the last two items (Usage Tracking and Tracks.uti). See Note #1. Then try the scan again.

Note #1: To automatically check those item you can right click on the list and select “Spyware check only”.
