Can't remove Smitfraud

My client is having terrible problems with removal of the Smitfraud-C, Smitfraud-C.toolbar888 and WinXPServicePackCrack trojans.

Spybot identifies and removes them but they come back every time the PC is rebooted.

They also have AVG antivirus Free Edition loaded and this is also finding Generic3.OD and Generic.3AS trojans. The same thing happens – it appears to quarantine them but they re-appear on re-boot.

Can someone please help.

Which version of Spybot-S&D are you running?
Do you have the latest updates installed?

Please produce a *complete* Spybot bug report:

Open Spybot-S&D and start a scan ("check for problems"). After the scan, right-click in the results field and choose either "Save full report to file..." or
"Copy full report to clipboard".

Attach the file (or copy the report) to the email and send it to: detections(at)spybot.info (Replace AT with @)
