Spybot 1.4 Upgrade question

Good evening to everybody and Merry Christmas:)
I am using Spybot 1.3 for some months now under WinXP SP2. Truth is that I was a little hesitant to upgrade to 1.4 because I was reading of some problems in the forum, so I waited for some time till these "natal" problems were fixed. I have decided to move to 1.4 but I would like to know if my entries in the Tools section (especially Resident, ActiveX and BHO) will be somehow saved after the upgrade procedure.

As long as you do not delete the information contained in the Application Data folder the changes you made should be preserved. The folder is located as follows and is not normally deleted when you uninstall and old version:
  • Windows 95 or 98:
    C:\Windows\Aplication Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\
  • Windows ME:
    C:\Windows\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\
  • Windows NT, 2000 or XP:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\
