old hostsfile backups not removed

why isnt the old hostsfile backups made by spybot STILL not removed by spybot 1.6? they are in this folder: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

i have 18 hostsfile backups from spybot in the folder, and so many backups is unnecessary. the folder is growing and growing and just takes up space. there maybe isnt all spybot users that know where the folder is and are able to delete the old backups.

In response to your previous query concerning deleting HOSTS file backups, PepiMK indicated in this post that he would look into including it in Spybot 2.0:

i didnt notice that he mentioned that it maybe will be included in 2.0
i thought he ment it will be included in 1.6

so i didnt notice it.:oops:

then i will delete them right away, i thought that spybot 1.6 maybe has deleted them but when looking in the folder they were still there.
