Swizzor installs itself on the computer and tries to connect to a server in the internet. Then it waits for new orders to harm the computer.

Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.
  • Entries named "eggs joy math type" and pointing to "<$COMMONAPPDATA>\Bind army eggs joy\*.exe".
  • Entries named "eggs joy math type" and pointing to "<$COMMONAPPDATA>\Bind army eggs joy\Meta Tons.exe".
  • Entries named "itchmeal".
  • Entries named "InsideAnteBarbHelp".
  • Entries named "itchmeal" and pointing to "<$APPDATA>\LOGANTIFORK\okay four.exe".
  • Entries named "InsideAnteBarbHelp" and pointing to "<$COMMONAPPDATA>\Uploadwipeinsideante\FOROWNS.exe".

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Swizzor uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

Folders:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

  • Delete the registry key "{F781463B-D07D-4D57-2D3C-263631D800FF}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
  • Delete the registry value "lop.com" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\New Windows\Allow\".
  • Delete the registry value "www.lop.com" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\New Windows\Allow\".
  • Delete the registry key "" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\DeviceClasses\{6994AD04-93EF-11D0-A3CC-00A0C9223196}\##?#PCI#VEN_1274&DEV_1371&SUBSYS_13711274&REV_02#3&61AAA01&0&90#{6994ad04-93ef-11d0-a3cc-00a0c9223196}\#Wave\Device Parameters\".
  • Delete the registry value "dns-look-up.com" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\New Windows\Allow\".
  • Delete the registry value "search200.com" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\New Windows\Allow\".
  • Delete the registry value "www.dns-look-up.com" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\New Windows\Allow\".
  • Delete the registry value "www.search200.com" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\New Windows\Allow\".
  • Delete the registry key "{B4C2B726-F1D7-8793-51C3-A77C56290568}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry key "{F781463B-D07D-4D57-2D3C-263631D800FF}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
If Swizzor uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.

Browser:

The following browser plugins or items can either be removed directly in your browser, or through the help of e.g. Spybot-S&D or RunAlyzer.
