The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "ComputerMonitorKeylogger" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
ComputerMonitorKeylogger tracks the user's surfing and working behaviour. ComputerMonitorKeylogger creates autorun entries in the registry in order to be launched on each Windows startup. It records all keystrokes without user consent and thus makes it possible to spy on the user. It is able to block programs (especially anti-spy or anti-virus programs) from starting and it runs completely hidden.​
Supposed Functionality:

Removal Instructions:

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D, RunAlyzer or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.
  • Entries named "MSRegScan" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\RSCMKD\RSCMKD".
Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D or RunAlyzer to locate and get rid of these entries.
  • Products that have a key or property named "{FF82E055-5798-41B6-A0A7-6CEE72E5C294}".
Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
  • The file at "<$STARTMENU>\Programs\RebrandSoftware\Computer Monitor Keylogger Demo\Computer Monitor Keylogger Demo.lnk".
  • The file at "<$STARTMENU>\Programs\RebrandSoftware\Computer Monitor Keylogger Demo\Readme-Help.lnk".
  • The file at "<$STARTMENU>\Programs\RebrandSoftware\Computer Monitor Keylogger Demo\RebrandSoftware.com.url".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\RSCMKD\EventScheduler.mdb".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\RSCMKD\Help.rtf".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\RSCMKD\RebrandSoftware.com.url".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\RSCMKD\RSCMKD.exe".
  • The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\RSCMK\RSCMK.exe".
  • The file at "<$DESKTOP>\Computer Monitor Keylogger Demo.lnk".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If ComputerMonitorKeylogger uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D to remove them.

Folders:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these folders.
  • The directory at "<$APPDATA>\Microsoft\Installer\{FF82E055-5798-41B6-A0A7-6CEE72E5C294}".
  • The directory at "<$STARTMENU>\Programs\RebrandSoftware".
  • The directory at "<$STARTMENU>\Programs\RebrandSoftware\Computer Monitor Keylogger Demo".
  • The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\RSCMKD".
  • The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\RSCMK".
  • The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\RSCMKD\projects".
  • The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\RSCMK\projects".
  • The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\RSCMKD\temp".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If ComputerMonitorKeylogger uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.
  • Delete the registry key "550E28FF89756B140A7AC6EE275E2C49" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer\Features\".
  • Delete the registry key "550E28FF89756B140A7AC6EE275E2C49" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer\Products\".
  • Delete the registry key "78C9A0AC57247514CACE3678D06E8790" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-21-790525478-1364589140-839522115-1003\Components\".
  • Delete the registry key "7C458832622A16146B5473A8D23D6366" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-21-790525478-1364589140-839522115-1003\Components\".
  • Delete the registry key "9BA17B6F04DC34B4291E2412C52F6B79" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-21-790525478-1364589140-839522115-1003\Components\".
  • Delete the registry key "A2471F17904E4854B96FD09ED6762A32" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-21-790525478-1364589140-839522115-1003\Components\".
  • Delete the registry key "AE71F4676B54AD9429CDC756EC435EA8" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-21-790525478-1364589140-839522115-1003\Components\".
  • Delete the registry key "EDC24B640631ED249B46E5D7C1D46ED1" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-21-790525478-1364589140-839522115-1003\Components\".
  • Delete the registry key "550E28FF89756B140A7AC6EE275E2C49" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-21-790525478-1364589140-839522115-1003\Products\".
  • Delete the registry value "<$APPDATA>\Microsoft\Installer\{FF82E055-5798-41B6-A0A7-6CEE72E5C294}\" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\".
  • Delete the registry value "<$PROGRAMS>\RebrandSoftware\" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\".
  • Delete the registry value "<$PROGRAMS>\RebrandSoftware\Computer Monitor Keylogger Demo\" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\".
  • Delete the registry value "<$PROGRAMFILES>\RSCMKD\" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\".
If ComputerMonitorKeylogger uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
