Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.
  • A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "Activeinstaller.AInst", plus associated values.
  • Delete the registry key "RapidBlaster" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\".
  • Delete the registry key "{F0AA2376-F073-4E57-86E8-0238F99087C7}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
  • Delete the registry key "{67D26F9A-4ECE-4BA8-BF86-41398D5F25E9}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
  • Delete the registry key "{EFD0334A-D40B-4937-8B09-271A4AC78AC6}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
  • References to the file "Downloaded Program Files\activeinstaller.dll" at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDlls\.
  • Delete the registry key "{F0AA2376-F073-4E57-86E8-0238F99087C7}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Code Store Database\Distribution Units\".
  • Delete the registry key "{29CAC0B6-D6C2-4395-8289-BF3FBF27AD5F}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Code Store Database\Distribution Units\".
If RapidBlaster uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.

Browser:

The following browser plugins or items can either be removed directly in your browser, or through the help of e.g. Spybot-S&D or RunAlyzer.
  • Look for ActiveX software installed from "cnt.rapidblaster.com".
  • Look for ActiveX software installed from "activeinstaller.dll".
