    Hello,

Thank you very much for providing feedback towards our Spybot-S&D 2.0. RC 2.

Did you uninstall older versions of Spybot-S&D before you downloaded the new RC 2?
Did you make a fresh system start after the installation?

    Best regards

    Hello,

Do you still get the error message?
And have you restarted the PC after the installation?
    Do you run Windows XP?
Which service pack do you have installed?

    Best regards

Also can you please check the date of the file by hand?
    It should be located under:
    C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy 2

That would be a great help.
    Thank you.

    Default Same error here

I have the same error popup since Wednesday.
    Win 7 x64 sp1,
    Spybot tray access 2.0.9.127 date 4.July 2012
I did a clean install and deleted the old Spybot s&d folder after
    uninstalling the previous beta.
    And a system restart too

    Default fix

I did a clean install of the new rc2 now and it seems to fix the problem.
    No access violation any more.

A few days ago, I have this
"Access violation at address 500B6430 in module 'rt150.bpl'. Read of
    address 00000004."

    Now, I also have this
"Access violation at address 0044E615 in module 'SDImmunize.exe'. Read
    of address 00000000."

I have uninstalled completely the older version of Spybot and install RC.
