hi all,
i have a pc that continues to get bootini.exe a supposed Windows Update Patch. I finally found how to remove this but it keeps reappearing. Spybot is not finding it either. Can I add the processes it goes under to the teatimer? This is a real pain in the butt, as it completely knocks out the Internet whenever it is contracted. It is refered to all over the Internet as malware, and as such eTrust AV does not find it. Regards, g00fy |

Hello.
bootini.exe is added by the W32/Rbot-FMN worm and IRC backdoor. Please follow the instructions in this sticky topic: "BEFORE you POST" -Preliminary Steps Then start your own thread in the malware forum if the problem is not resolved after running the scans as indicated. Malware Removal Forum Once you have posted a helper will advise you as soon as available. Cheers.
