I just downloaded the program, and i tried running the search and destroy function a few times, each time, it was finding spyware, but about 2000/51000 into the scan each time, it says that "the user has aborted the scan," but i didnt do anything to cause this. It happens at the same time each scan, do you know of a way i can fix this?

Review the following thread and see if the suggestion about uninstalling including using this very small fix and then reinstalling fixes the problem:
