Quicktime Install/Uninstall

Greetings,
I am new to this forum. I found my way here searching resolutions to an issue I am having with my computer. I recently received an ipod and was trying to download the Quick time and Itunes but was unsuccessful. The windows installer finishes, than I try to open up itunes and the error report box pops up saying that the program encountered and problem and needs to close. The same for Quick Time. So I try to uninstall and Quick Time is unable to uninstall because it can't find the uninstall.log.

I've tried several times and I am getting really frustrated. I've a few of the logs and have done the Spybot S&D (no errors), HJT scan, and the online Panda scan. The Panda scan found several spywares and other things I really don't know about. Can someone help me please!?!

Welcome to the forum, it is unlikely this is a malware issue and I suggest you take it up with support.
