went back and did the fixwareout as was posted in another post, and that worked.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I am sorry for the wait and glad to hear you fixed the problem. I must tell you this infection is rarely that easy to get rid of. If you read a fix it probably included this line:
Once the desktop loads post the text that will open (report.txt) and a new Hijackthis log in the forum please.
That is because there is almost always more junk put there by the infection that must be removed after Fixwareout is run. If you wish to be sure your computer is clean, post the report from Fixwareout and a new HJT log. Have a look at where the infection comes from:
