Hijackthis Log help please

Hello,
I have some continuing problems with a new PC and need assistance from experts. I don't know enough about some of these processes to remove them.

Here is a copy of my Hijack this log. I also can NOT get Norton removed after various tries. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forum, if you still need help, let's discuss this for a moment.

The first thing I need to say is you stated:
I have some continuing problems with a new PC
If your computer is new you should be dealing with Tech Support at wherever you purchased it. Just about anything you do to it will invalidate the warranty.

I do not see any malware in this log, and you have given no information. If you have malware issues you need to describe them, tell us what your computer is doing and about any error messages you are receiving "word for word".

You are running two antivirus programs at the same time and you seem to be aware of this. Let me show you what Symantec and Microsoft say about this:

If you wish to remove Norton/Symantec, perhaps this information will help:

You may also have an uninstaller here: All Program > Norton > Uninstaller.
You should also look in Add Remove programs, once you get Norton or AVG whichever one you take off, then post another HJT log. This time please read the Pinned information:
