i am running windowsxp2 home edition ie7 and i am having major problems with doing windows update, when i select the express mode the scan starts and then stops i have tried many things to rectify this but no success, what i think might be the problem is McAfee i had it installed and then removed it but there are remnants that i cannot get rid of i have tried removing all references to it and tried using highjack this to get rid of it but it just seems to be replicating itself, can anybody give me some advice with this.
