Hi,

I'll tell you the chain of events that led to my problem. Some time ago my computer was infected with a Trojan which Norton picked up. It took some effort to get the virus contained but eventually it was. I noticed that my computer performence was quite slow and pop-unders became a problem. Then, just this week, after returning from holiday, i booted my computer and Norton picked up a generic "infostealer" malware! This was unsettling. I ran Spybot and it picked up remnants of a "Win32.Agent.At" malware.

My computer still functions quite slowly and I'm afraid that my security might still be compromised by info stealing malware. Please help!

J

Welcome to the forum, I need to show you the Google on that one:
Win32.Agent.At: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Win32.Agent.At&btnG=Google+Search
And I really should provide you with this information:

One or more of the identified infections steal information. If this system is used for online banking or has credit card information on it, all passwords should be changed immediately by using a different computer (not the infected one!) to make the changes. Banking and credit card institutions, if any, should be notified of the possible security breech. I suggest that you read this article too:

When Should I Format, How Should I Reinstall

While I can not say for sure because of the limited information you provided, I believe you should be warned. If you want me to look more you need to follow these instructions:

"BEFORE you POST" -Preliminary Steps
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
Use "Post Reply" to post the information in the instructions and stay in the same topic.

Thanks
