OK, I'm hoping someone here can help me. Let me list a quick run down of what's happened:
Infecteded with Spysheriff virus even though norton catches virus and deletes it. Since then, computer has not worked well. Upgraded to IE 7.0 to see if that would make a difference...didn't. Went back to I.E. 6.0 and then found myself unable to open internet explorer with the message that msvcrl.dll was not found. I fixed that by searching for ie and replacing it with a bad copy in my c drive. I've run adaware, done numerous norton searches, and then came back to spybot to run a scan...but it shuts down my computer 1/3 of the way through. In addition, I feel like that the original virus is not completely off my computer as possible restarts are loading other copies (named differently) as norton keeps catching other things...i.e. infostealer. Anyone have any suggestions. How would I show a log to get some help here? I'm somewhat of a newbie but realize I may have a serious problem here. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
