Hi
I can not remove Smitfraud-C.Keylogger.
Spybot always detects it, it removes it, but when i perform a new check Smitfraud-C.Keylogger is detected again.
Any help? Thanks in advance.

Use this (http://downloads.malwareremoval.com/hijackthis_sfx.exe) link to get HijackThis.
Save it to your desktop and then double-click to run it.
It will install the program in c:\program files\HijackThis.
Browse to that location with windows explorer, and double click on the HijackThis.exe program to run. Choose the 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'
That will allow you to save the log to the desktop (or some other place) and leave open a notepad file with the HijackThis log in it.
Now post your HijackThis log into this topic.

Does Norton have also firewall? If so, please uninstall ZoneAlarm. Only 1 firewall/computer.
Open HijackThis, click do a system scan only and checkmark these:

Close all windows including browser and press fix checked.
Download the Killbox (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/spyware/KillBox.zip).
Unzip it to the desktop
Double-click Killbox.exe to run it.
Select "Delete on Reboot".
Place the following line (complete path) in bold in the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox:
C:\WINDOWS\scvhost.exe
Put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot"
Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.
If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.
Send a fresh HijackThis log.

I followed your advice and i think it is cleared, however when i restart my pc a get two popups that svchost.exe can not be found. i guess that there is a registry entry that i have to manually remove.?
Symantec is just for virus and not for firewall.

We try first fixing with HijackThis :)
Open HijackThis, click do a system scan only and checkmark these:
F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe scvhost.exe
F3 - REG:win.ini: run=C:\WINDOWS\scvhost.exe
Close all windows including browser and press fix checked.
Please do an online scan with Kaspersky Online Scanner (http://www.kaspersky.com/downloads/kws/kavwebscan.html). You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
The program will launch and then start to download the latest definition files.
Once the scanner is installed and the definitions downloaded, click Next.
Now click on Scan Settings
In the scan settings make sure that the following are selected:
o Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
+ Extended (If available otherwise Standard)
o Scan Options:
+ Scan Archives
+ Scan Mail Bases
Click OK
Now under select a target to scan select My Computer
The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run. Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
Now click on the Save as Text button
Save the file to your desktop.
Copy and paste that information in your next post.
Send:
- a fresh HijackThis log
- kaspersky report

Kaspersky does not detect any other thread apart from the items that are quarantined by norton.
Thanks again for your help. You saved me from spending many hours in trying to clear this thread. I am wondering why Smitfraud-C.Keylogger is not detected by antivirus software. Do you have any idea where the file with the key strokes is send? I guess have to reset all my passwords now.

As for antivirus, some are just better than others and no av can recognize all viruses :)
Next do this:
Now you need to delete the infected files in your Norton AntiVirus Quarantine.
