View Full Version : Need to install detection updates - How ?

:rolleyes: I have just downloaded and executed Spybotsd14.....for WinXP a new computer......When I tried to scan for the first time I got the following error message....Need to install the detection updates by using the integrated update or the manual updater...I cannot find anything about this on the help menu....Could someone please advise how to go about this....thanx

:) Hi LonnyRJones...thanx for your reply...I have done that and had a scan....all OK..My next question is when I was executing Spybot do you have to click the button in the middle of the screen eg. Create a Complete Backup of your registry....If so I did not do that on each screen...I used the next button......How do I check I have everything installed....I cannot find a complete backup file in find files & folders....thanx

Hi

If you skipped it during the install that option can be found In SSD > mode change to advanced mode > settings > settings again >and use the wizard button .

:) Thanks for your reply....I think I skipped a few buttons while installing how do I check all is installed properly.....I used "full installation" when I executed the program....but mainly used the next button.....I look forward to your reply....

Find that wizard button and dont use the next button entil each funtion has completed
