Reappearing cookies?

Hi,

my system is Win98se, using spybot, The following little cookies keep reappearing. I'm also using Firefox 2.0.1 i think it is.
This same bug seems to always de-immunize 5 "protections.
Any good way to get rid of this?

Immunization is primarily for Internet Explorer. You can block third-party (tracking) cookies from within Firefox. See the following article:

If you are running Windows 98, 98SE or ME a small counting bug in Spybot 1.4 immunization process may account for the five items not being immunized.

This did not help. I tried changing the cookie-thing in Firefox like the link said.

To remove the cookies if they are still being found after a Spybot scan,try some of the suggestions in the top part of this post:

If you don't have any other cookies you want to save in Firefox,you could click the Remove All Cookies button. This would be easiest, but don't do it if you have any cookies you want to keep.

If you do have other cookies in Firefox you want to keep, could remove the cookies manually from within Firefox. To do so go to Tools->Options->click the Cookies tab, then click the View Cookies button.
Looking off the Spybot report, scroll through the list to find the tracking cookie(s), then click on the tracking cookie with your mouse, and then click on the remove cookie(s) button.

Or you could try doing another scan with Spybot and see if it removes the tracking cookies this time (though it might not work, but you could try and see).

Note:You should find cookies in Firefox 2.0 if you go to Tools->Options,then click Privacy up top,then click the show cookies... button.

Yes probably Firefox cookies (I haven't used IE in a long time).

I hope 1.5 is compatible with FF because while FF is a LOT safer it isn't foolproof.

No,you're right,FF isn't foolproof.Nice browser,though,my favorite. :)
But,I wouldn't exactly say Spybot is incompatible with it(tracking cookie difficulties aside.).There's a page about what it can detect with Firefox and other browsers below:

If you wanted to Add Spybot's hosts list to your Hosts file,that would prevent Firefox(and all other browsers on your computer) from going to some web sites known for bad behavior.From Spybot's Help File:

Tools > Options > Privacy tab > Cookies Exceptions Button. Type the offender (e.g. X10.com) into the buffer and click Block.

I added zedo.com and casalemedia.com (my daily repeaters) to the list and never saw them again. I've had clean daily scans for a week.
