mouse trouble

Hi,

I had some excellent help on here last week, and I'm gutted to have to be back on here so soon.

Basically my optical mouse keeps becomes sluggish, freezes up, takes multiple clicks where one would normally do, and is generally driving me crazy.

I have Kaspersky installed and it finds nothing. Spybot finds nothing. Adaware originally found something called conhook trojan, but since it got 'rid' of it it doesn't find it anymore but the mouse freezing is still happening.

The reason why I don't think that the mouse is broken is that it reverts to normal on occasion and works fine.

Hello and welcome back. I must say I see nothing in this log that looks like malware. Before I start wasting your time and mine looking for something that is probably being caused by the mouse, I suggest you go to the website of the mouse software and look for something there to help. Check the driver for an update. There may even be a forum dealing with issues where you can post. It may be also that it is time to get yourself a nice new mouse? If you are unable to resolve the issue with these suggestions or if you find other reasons to believe malware may be involved, then post again and I will start scans looking for it.
