Until yesterday I had NO idea that SpyBot had been upgraded from 3.1 to 4.1 and like a fool, I removed 3.1 and installed 4.1
I have NEVER had any problems with 3.1....I LOVE my SpyBot. Now with 4.1 what a nightmare.
When I ran it last night I got these hits:
statcounter
Zedo
Media Plex
Click Bank
Casale Media
Ad Revolver
All of these seemed to be attached to my firefox browser. I Googled each one, and they do not seem to be spyware but I am not sure.
They cannot be removed. I have tried 7 times and they always come back.
Ever since I installed 4.1, my hotmail is wierd, and my F/F home page is strange.
I have Firefox browser and I have Windows xp/Home.
Any ideas? should I be concerned about these hits. Very odd Ad Aware didn't pick any of them up.
