Need help with "Connection was Reset // Connection to the server was reset while the page was loading" - in Firebox. In IE7, you're stuck - but with Firefox, I can keep trying until I make the connection.
This is the 3rd time with this. It is not a firewall problem, not an ISP problem, or any of the other lame solutions usually given (Google it to see them).
The first time, it was JavaByte causing it. Last time, it was embedded in the System Restore folders, so turning off System Restore and removing the folders solved it.
This time, I already have System Restore off... I've used 4 AVG products, and others, including rootkit malware removal. Nothing is scratching this itch.
Spybot has been great with their tech support response...
Anyone figure this one out yet?
Oh, I have a Dell Dimension 4600 PC with Windows XP, SP2...
