Hey,
I just joined because I have tried numerous ways to remove this and none have succeeded, including using windows defender. Could someone please instruct me on how to destroy this. For a while Windows Defender would show that it was still on my computer every start up, now after I deleted some strange folders on my computer that I know did not exist before,it does not do that but I still get pop ups that I think are linked with it.
Thanks, here is the log

Hi, welcome to Safer Networking Forums!
Since HijackThis creates backups of all it fixes and we want them safe and secured should they be required later, we need to move HijackThis to a permanent folder.
a.) Open my computer > double click C:\ , right click in the background > Go to New > click Folder > Name the Folder HJT
b.) After creating the folder, find your HijackThis.exe (it looks like a detonator with some dynamites). Then, drag and drop that file to the new folder you created.
____________________________
*Please follow the instrcutions HERE (http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=si_virus&message.id=42328) on how to remove Dell's MyWay.
*Uninstall the items in bold if found:
Ipwindows
Starware
*A few optionals that I would recommend be uninstalled.
BitTorrent
This program is very likely the reason your system is infested with malware. Even when a program like this is not infected itself, it will still bring malware into your system because more than half of all files available for download from peer-to-peer networks have been deliberately infected with some form of malware. I recommend that you remove this program from your system.
WildTangent
WildTangent asserts that the software bundle is safe, but many antispyware programs classify it as adware/spyware, mainly because it reports activity and games played to various servers. Some experts feel that WildTangent's software is safe but consider it to be foistware because it is often installed without the user's knowledge or express consent. It doesn't spy or deliver advertising, but it is generally unwanted. I recommend that you remove it.
*Click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs and uninstall the items I listed in bold if found.
*Reboot and delete the following folders:
C:\Program Files\Ipwindows
C:\Program Files\Starware
C:\Program Files\MyWaySA
delete the following folder if you uninstalled Bittorrent:
C:\Program Files\BitTorrent
delete the following folder if you uninstalled wild tangent:
C:\Program Files\wild tangent
Empty your recycle bin.

Download SDFix (http://downloads.andymanchesta.com/RemovalTools/SDFix.exe) and save it to your Desktop.
Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive%
(Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix)
Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
Restart your computer
After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
Choose your usual account.
Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
(Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum).
Finally paste the contents of the Report.txt back on the forum with a new HijackThis log
_____________________________
Please download SmitfraudFix (http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.exe) (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.
Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options except for Option # 1.
Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
http://www.beyondlogic.org/consulting/proc...processutil.htm (http://www.beyondlogic.org/consulting/processutil/processutil.htm)
If the tool fails to launch from the Desktop, please move SmitfraudFix.exe directly to the root of the system drive (usually C:), and launch from there.
On your next reply, please post the SDFix log along witht the smitfraudfix log.

The computer seems to be working fine, no popups, nor anything I think is related to a malware infection, however World of Warcraft isn't working. Would that be linked with the steps I have taken? It says I have a Data error (cyclic redundancy check). Thanks, here is the HJT:

however World of Warcraft isn't working. Would that be linked with the steps I have taken? It says I have a Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
I don't think any of the steps we have taken could've done that..
As I have no knowledge about windows troubleshooting, I'm sorry but I can't help you with that..
Try to register and run some checks here any maybe it would point you the exact problem: www.pcpitstop.com
Your log shows that you still have previous versions of Java installed. Even though you have the current version, you are still vulnerable to certain infections because you still have the older version. Please go to your control panel and uninstall ALL previous versions of Java except for the one you just downloaded.
After you have installed all previous versions, please post a fresh HijackThis log for final checkup:bigthumb:

I think you may have got yourself a new nasty..
*Configure your machine to view hidden files:
Windows XP
Click Start.
Open My Computer..
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab.
Under the "Hidden files and folders" heading select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck the Hide Protected Operating System Files Option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.
*I would like you to scan a file for me.
Please go HERE (http://virusscan.jotti.org/). Click browse then, navigate to this file:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\nsakmcsq.dll
Then click submit.
If Jotti is too busy, you can go HERE (www.virustotal.com) and do the same as above.
Please post the results to your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

One more question, I have been attempting to restore my computer, so that WOW might work, but no matter what I do, trying it in Safe mode or not, my computer will not restore. Could this be a hardware problem?

My friends dad fixed this problem with WOW using regedit, but when i type regedit into run, it says regedit is not a valid Win32 application. Any idea how to get around it?

Are you sure you configured Windows to show hidden files? Yes, it seems that you managed to remove all older versions :)
Please post a fresh HijackThis log..
