ConnectionServices...linkoptimizer?

Hey, for a while now i've been noticing my net has been going really slow...a week or so ago i found 'connectionservices' in add or remove programs. When i press unstill it just opens a webpage directing me to http://notetol.com/uninstall.php where i press an 'uninstall' button and then it just says 'thank you'.

I've searched around on google for a while and i think this is something to do with the link optimizer trojan?

I've scanned my computer using AVG, spybot, ad-aware, trojan-remover, prevx1 and its still there!

I found a couple of Linkoptimizer specific removers such as the Symantec LinkOptimizer Removal Toolhttp://www.symantec.com/enterprise/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2006-092316-4153-99

I followed all the instructions and that didn't work...maybe i'm wrong bout having linkoptimizer?

but that connectionservices thing is still there and my net is still slow..

The Avenger must be run from a user account with administrator privileges,
and ONLY works on Windows 2000 and XP, and only on 32-bit versions!

Start the Avenger.
Under "Script file to execute" choose "Input Script Manually".
Click on the Magnifying Glass icon which will open a new window titled "View/edit script".
Paste the entire text in into this window.
Click done, now click on the Green Light
Answer "Yes" twice when prompted.
Your computer shoud reboot, and briefly open a black command window on your desktop, this is normal.

After the restart, it will create a log file that should open.
This log file will be located at C:\avenger.txt
Paste the contents of the file into your reply along with a fresh HJT log.

Also: Avenger has made backups of all the files, etc., that you asked it to delete, located at C:\avenger\backup.zip.

Download cleanup (http://www.stevengould.org/software/cleanup/download.html)

Run cleanup reboot.Then run panda again, post the results here.
