ok now i havent rlly found a sollution to this and ive looked many places for a answer and many people have had help. I did a hjt and its posted below. My problem is that i have an extra iexplore.exe runnin when i havent opened ie. Also if some one would be nice enough to look thru the hjt for any other problem it would be appricated as i am leaving this comp to my parents once my new build is up and runnin :P. i have ran Anti vir and spybot search and destroy thru fully.

first you should move or just delete that copy of hjt in the temp dir. why? because the backups may get deleted. read this to install,use hjt:
* Downloads:
* Please make sure you have the latest version. HJT 1.99.1
* http://www.downloads.subratam.org/hijackthis.zip
* If you are unfamiliar with zip programs get HijackThis.exe here:
* http://www.merijn.org/files/HijackThis.exe
* First put hijackthis into a permanent folder.
* Do this first - go to C: and create a new permanent folder.
Example C:\AntiSpyWare or C:\hijackthis
* This is necessary to ensure you have backups should anything go wrong.
* Then put (or download - choose "save" not "run") the hijackthis.exe file in this folder.
If you downloaded a zipped HJT file unzip it to the permanent folder so you have C:\hijackthis\hijackthis.exe.
* Example of the wrong way:
C:\DOCUME~1\Name\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temporary Directory for hijackthis.zip\HijackThis.exe
* Running hjt from the wrong folder may delay assistance as your helper will have to ask for a new log.
If in doubt use this link to get HijackThis.
Save it to your desktop and then double-click to run it.
It will install the program in c:\program files\HijackThis.

hi rietman,
it dosnt look like you downloaded from one of those links. your log looks unchanged. did you get avg antispyware or superantispyware update and scan with one?
kk i was skipping over what u said accidently and i ran avg and antivir and spybot and heres my htj i found a trace of winhound in my reg :trample: .
avg did notice it but um it wouldnt let me delete it so i ran regedit.exe and i went and found it i ATTEMPTED to delete it but that did work. idk if this would work but possibly and unlocker? i was looking at winhound on the inet and it seems a easy virus to get.. In the past ive conquered a few viruses but im worried about this winhound. ALSO my iexplore.exe is still there when there are no windows opened witch also bugs me and when i kill it it just returns. there was a post and they said they found it in the reg but i wasnt sure if it was the same case im have. well enought jibber jabber here u go

also i just noticed something... i did another hjt with a iexplorer and it comes out as all caps when i have the window open so that means that the idle one er w/e is lowercase well the fully fucntioning one is capslocked

do scan with avg then:

kk well i got the process to drop even on start up its not there and i killed a few more so they wont start with services.msc. i also did a scan in safe mode with afg and it found some in system voulmatice w/e. the only problem now is i have winhound liscines in my reg witch i cannoth delete

can you post the saved avg log, not much in the hjt log. are you getting popup warnings from the task bar about "infections" do you see winhound in C;\program files?

you might want to run this. i have never used it and dont know if it will clean up registry entries. as long as they arent in the run,runonce key they are harmless:
