as you are all proberbly all very pc literate, can someone advise me on how to obtain free (if possible) software to download, for a,- ( dont laugh...)

As far as I know the software is not free.

A Google search will show where to purchase the products.

drivers are all you need ?

try driverguide.com they try to sell their drivertool box all day long and while you have their site up you get popups about it but i have never had any problems with any drivers i got from there
