Unable to accesses unsecure web pages

I am a FireFox user but occassionally have to use IE6.0. I just recently upgraded to Spybot 1.4 and since then I have not been able to access unsecure web page on IE 6.0 FireFox works fine and i am able to access secure web pages on IE. I also can no longer download security quotes on Quicken. I am not sure if any of this is due to the Spybot 1.4 upgrade. Any suggestions? I use WINXP Home.

Hello,

Do you have the resident feature of Spybot - Search & Destroy activated?
Please see what happens if you turn it off temporarly.

I deselected the resident feature with no effect. The problem still exists. I even uninstalled Spybot with no effect. Even though the problem seemed to have started with the upgrade to Spybot 1.4, I am not convinced that the problem is with Spybot.
