I'm having the same problem that I've seen in several post here. When I search with Google and click on a result, I'm redirected to another page other that the one I clicked on. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is my HijackThis log:

Welcome to the forum, you have some junk plugged into your browser I can't even identify. Let's remove it first and see if that's the problem.

1) Since I see no antivirus scan results, you must have missed this information: "BEFORE you POST" -Preliminary Steps
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
Read and follow those instructions, post the online antivirus scan as soon as you have it.

2) Your Java program is badly out of date, and may be why you are infected, read this:
http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=12880&postcount=2
C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\ <<< out of date, download the newest version and uninstall all other versions in Add Remove Programs.

3) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

4) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {0AB2F222-CDC4-3B92-32E9-00C1C11F6A0A} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\glvrard.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {31B23D4A-7F46-EE5E-49C2-01FB46809174} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\cchaloh.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {43241E5A-D869-3CDB-28AA-0AFAA8CFFB6D} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\cvsmpcg.dll

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

5) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart the computer and post that online antivirus scan results if you have not yet done so, a new HJT log and any comments you think will help.

Thanks

1.) I uninstalled and updated my Java to the latest version.
2.) I ran Spybot S&D with the latest updates in safe mode and it found nothing.
3.) I ran ATF cleaner as instructed.
4.) I ran the online Panda ActiveScan and when it concluded got the following message: "No viruses or other malicious software have been found!" I saw no option to create or download a scan log.

Here is the latest HJT log:

I forgot to add that I ran HJT and "fixed" the following as suggested:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {0AB2F222-CDC4-3B92-32E9-00C1C11F6A0A} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\glvrard.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {31B23D4A-7F46-EE5E-49C2-01FB46809174} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\cchaloh.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {43241E5A-D869-3CDB-28AA-0AFAA8CFFB6D} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\cvsmpcg.dll

Also yesterday before I posted, I ran the online Windows Live OneCare scanner and it found the 3 files above.

Thanks for returning your information and the feedback, unless you set these, use HJT to remove them:
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

I can see no malware in the HJT log, how is the computer running now?

Thanks

The computer seems fine now and I'm no longer redirected to the wrong place when I click on a Google search result.

What are these:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:

I've got a quick question. Since the above "fixes" my Desktop and Quick Launch settings will not save. I have checked the Quick Launch and I have unchecked Auto Arrange for the Desktop. With them checked I have a Quick Launch bar and I can rearrange the desktop icons but when I reboot, all icons are on the left and the Quick Launch bar is gone.

Could this be related to any of the things that I did above?

Nothing we did should have caused that, unless it has to do with the infection. Like I said I had never seen those files before. Are you getting any error messages, any other malware issues with the computer. Let me look at another HJT log in case soemthing else is there, and give me any information you think will help. First time I have heard of this, all you did was unplug three nasty BHO's from your browser.

Thanks

The HJT log looks fine as far as I can see. Take a look through this information:
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2006-16,GGLG:en&q=restore+a+quick+launch+toolbar
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2006-16,GGLG:en&q=Quick+Launch+settings+will+not+save
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=GGLG%2CGGLG%3A2006-16%2CGGLG%3Aen&q=Quick+Launch+settings+&btnG=Search
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2006-16,GGLG:en&q=Desktop+and+Quick+Launch+settings+will+not+save%2e

Let me know if any of that helps, I must not use that item and can't comprehend what is missing.
