systemfehler???

I have Spybot running on system startup, and recently it has begun giving an error. The error is in a Windows dialog with a red circled white X. It says "Systemfehler. Code: 1400. Invalid window handle" The only button is OK. When I click OK, Spybot comes up and says "This lists displays additional information about the installed network drivers and protocols and is intended as additional information for professional and for system reports only." There is nothing in the list.

I'm running Windows XP with all the updates, on a Compaq with 2G Athlon processor and 512 M RAM. Thanks for any help.

I'm sorry, I tried to get a screen shot for you, and now it won't give me the error. My husband just told me that it only happens about half the time.

But when I tried to get the error, the scan takes less than a minute to run! On my computer, Spybot takes several minutes, even though my computer has a smaller hard drive. I think there may be something wrong with this...
