Running XP pro with 2 admin accounts. I installed Spybot on the first account, then needed to create a second account.

Windows doesn't recognize that the disabled items in startup folder belong to Spybot. Every time this account logs on, windows prompts what program to use. I selected "dummy" from the list and told windows to remember, but it doesn't remember.

Please help.
Thanks

I am a bit confused as to what the problem you are encountering is. In the title of your thread you state:

spybot dosen't recognize disabled startup items in alternate xp accounts
In the body of your post you state:

Windows doesn't recognize that the disabled items in startup folder belong to Spybot.
Perhaps you could rephrase your query and specify what startup items that you are referring to and specify specifically what you mean by "Windows doesn't recognize that the disabled items in startup folder belong to Spybot" (there is no startup folder that belongs to Spybot).

For example: Are you getting pop-up dialog messages from TeaTimer? Did you go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced mode > Tools > System Startup and "Toggle" or "Delete" an item and was that item in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry hive?
