Help!

I just got a new computer and I need to know which files to exclude from searches.

Its an HP and I know from my last computer that HP has spyware like files on your computer and if you delete them it messes up your computer

ferret - Hijacker
hitslink – tracking cookie
mediaplex – tracking cookie
targetnet – tracking cookie
valueclick – tracking cookie
webtrends live – tracking cookie
wildtangent - PUP (possibly unwanted program) or Spybot. What is the actual detection that you got?

Scan and fix all of the above except possibly WildTangent if it was a PUP detection.
