Can't remove Smitfraud

My client is having terrible problems with removal of the Smitfraud-C, Smitfraud-C.toolbar888 and WinXPServicePackCrack trojans.

Spybot identifies and removes them but they come back every time the PC is rebooted.

They also have AVG antivirus Free Edition loaded and this is also finding Generic3.OD and Generic.3AS trojans. The same thing happens – it appears to quarantine them but they re-appear on re-boot.

Please produce a *complete* Spybot bug report:

Open Spybot-S&D and start a scan ("check for problems"). After the scan, right-click in the results field and choose either "Save full report to file..." or
"Copy full report to clipboard".

Attach the file (or copy the report) to the email and send it to: detections(at)spybot.info (Replace AT with @)

Then follow the procedure in this link: "BEFORE you POST" -Preliminary Steps (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288) <snip>



Did you send the scan results?

To receive assistance in this forum to remove malware, you need to produce the logs as out-lined in the procedure.
