I've picked up something nasty and I cannot get rid of it...

Ive tried to delete the related files... and followed up on a few forums, but nothing has worked.

When I run spybot, the same hk files keep popping up. ive also installed hitman pro, avast avg, zonelabs and used them all.

I've used hijack this to remove some files, esp. out of messenger, and a few other suspects, but nothing has worked

anysuggestions are appreciated.
thank you for your consideration in this matter. it is greatly appreciated.
kind regards

thanks to all who read this post, and for those who may provide some insight into this issue. Of course, it is greatly appreciated.

this time i'm attaching the hijackthis log. ( I posted an earlier inquiry, but had no response yet ) I am also attaching some of the spybot report. (it's huge)

if anybody can make any suggestions, i would greatly appreciate it. i keep getting the issues ( files keep turning up after running spybot. i erase them, and they keep coming back.)

originally we were getting false security pop ups, which initiated the whole process. the files we can't remove are similar to this;

hku\s-1-21-2308365818-1217577382-1943057762-1008\software\microsoft\windows\current version\internetsettings\zones\3

can anyone tell me what the likelihood of comprimised financial data is during this process??our F-Secure fire wall and antivirus seemed to disappear and quit functioning, strangely, during the process. so i deleted it, and installed zonealarm. this is not the first time I have had to reinstall F secure because it fails to initiate.
