View Full Version : Can't any install Antivirus Software

Hi,
I writing from Portugal, and I have a problem with me PC.
Some days ago I noticed that my TrendMicro Antivirus software wasn't showing near the clock.
I went to services and noticed that both OfficeScanNT RealTime Scan and OfficeScanNT Listener were stopped.
When I tried to start them, it gave me the error "The system cannot find the file specified".
I tried to reinstall the software, but I couldn't.
If I try to restore the file ntrtscan.exe from another PC, after a few seconds the file dissapears right beneath by eyes.
Already running Microsoft, Panda, Symantec, TrendMicro web removal spyware/virus, and some desinfected 130 files and more than 30 files of spyware.
At one time saw the virus name "Bagle" but already runned a few Bagle removal but didn't work 100%.
Now none of the Web Antivirus programs detects any virus, but I can't install the antivirus program also.

Please help, I doing this for 3 days now.

HI cbrito and welcome to the Forums :)

Please post a HijackThis log to here: Click here (http://downloads.malwareremoval.com/HijackThis.exe) to download HijackThis.exe
Save HijackThis.exe to your desktop.
Create a new folder named HijackThis to your desktop. Move Hijackthis.exe into that folder.
Run HijackThis.exe
Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
Click Save to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.
Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
