G'Day, I have cleaned my system after copping a dose of spyware. But I was wondering if someone could check my Hijack This log for anything else dodgy?

AVG Anti-Spyware says everything is good.

G'Day Mate, welcome to the forum. The only thing I see in the log you should address is this:

Grisoft purchased ewido and it is now Grisoft\AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5\ which you also have installed. that program is obsolete and should be uninstalled.

Besides that, your HJT log looks fine, if the scan report from AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 was clean also, I would say you are good to go. I suggest this.

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:

AVG Anti-Spyware is a good program but it does use some resources. Once the trial is over you can update and use the scanner for as long as you wish, but unless you purchase it you should turn it off completely so it does not run unless you start it manually.

Thanks for the info. All seems good, except that when I turn my printer on it it will feed all the sheets of paper through it until it runs out. It is a Canon BJC-255SP printer.

G'Day mate, that printer problem is not going to be malware related. Have a look here:

My first suggestion would be to unplug the printer from the USB port and plug it in again, that may stop the problem. Next I would check for a driver update for your product.
