A couple days ago, internet explorer 7 would close whenever i would choose to open a new tab, after disabling a browser helper object called PIUALA.DLL i was told that it was possibly a hijacker, i ran spy-bot and it didn't pick anything up. is there any info on that particular object? x.x i only got two results from google.

heres my hijack this log

Welcome to the forum, a check of your HJT log reveals no malware? A google of this: PIUALA.DLL returns only one instance. http://www.tomcoyote.org/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t74860.html
where that file was running from here: C:\WINDOWS\AppPatch\piuala.dll
and it never made it to Jotti for a scan. I see no evidence of it in your log through.

It appears you may have missed this very important information: "BEFORE you POST" -Preliminary Steps
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
If you believe you have a malware issue, then read and follow those directions, post the required antivirus scan, a new HJT log and supply me with information about the malware.

Thanks
