I think I have some kind of spyware on my pc call protectionband. Can someone please guide me the best way to destroy it. thanks

Please follow the procedure in this link: "BEFORE you POST" -Preliminary Steps (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)
Then start your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22)
Once you have posted a helper will advise you as soon as available.
If you post the information requested in that procedure into this topic (at the least a HJT log will be necessary), a volunteer helper will attempt to guide you through any cleanup required. :)
