Okay, so I get this unexpected window from Resident/Tea Timer - it blocked some change without asking, and my display is stuck on a really low resolution.
Here's what was denied...
3/9/2007 9:43:13 AM Denied value "HARDWARE" (new data: "") added in !

If I change the resolution, when I restart it bounces right back to this stupid giant resolution and I can only see about half my screen at a time.
What is the deal with the resident?? It really makes a mess of things. (Earlier this week it completely crashed my computer, and I had to restore it from my back up.)
For the record, my "black and white list" is empty, telling me (I think) it hasn't remembered anything, but it blocked the change above without asking.

Hi,

There is a bug in the current TeaTimer. Did the notification look like the notification from this post?

http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=122

The TeaTimer will automatically deny the change if you just click on the "x". Please use this workaround for allowing the registry change:

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/faq/55.html

Apart from that, we need your Resident log file for analysing the mentioned crash. Please run Spybot-S&D in advance mode(Mode > Advanced mode) and then go to Tools > Resident. There you should find the resident log displayed in the lower portion of the right-hand pane. Please copy and paste this log here.

No, it was just a pop up notifying me of the denyed change, not asking me. I've quoted the relevant portion of the log in my initial post.

I seemed to be able to get the correct display resolution to "stick" with turning off resident/tea timer and rebooting, although it seems that took a few tries. Maybe I didn't get the order of businiess correct the first time.
