Hey guys

I've used these forums before and i know you have excellent support
so this past month my computer has just been acting abit slow and
i want to know what's going on, i cannot remember one point where it
became slow or one event that i did.

Welcome back to the forum, since I don't see the required antivirus scan you may have missed this important information:
"BEFORE you POST" Mandatory Steps Before Requesting Assistance

A look at your HJT log shows me a few things that may be slowing you.

1) You are running SpywareDoctor and ewido (which is obsolete), for starters I suggest you uninstall ewido.

2) You are running programs you may not need to start everytime, have a look at this information:
http://www.netsquirrel.com/msconfig/ be careful not to turn off any security programs.

3) Follow the directions in this link: http://users.telenet.be/bluepatchy/miekiemoes/slowcomputer.html

When you have done all of that, post to let me know how the computer is running.

Hey, thanks for the help.
Recently i got the trial version of AVG which uninstalled Ewido for me
so that is done, also i only put spyware doctor on when i want to scan,
as with ewido so i never really had them running. i got rid of quite a few
start up programs also. And i'm going to do a disfragment of my C drive
over night. Although i've only been on it for little time the computer feels
a little bit faster, thanks

Thanks for returning your information and the feedback. ewido has been AVG Anti-Spyware for quite a while now, if you google ewido, this is where it takes you: http://www.ewido.net/en/
also i only put spyware doctor on when i want to scan as with ewido so i never really had them runningUnderstand that you need to have running on the computer in realtime: 1) 1 Antivirus program 2) 1 Firewall 3) 1 Anti-Spyware program. If you are turning these programs off, they can not give you realtime protection. If you do not own SpywareDoctor, it may be a trial also.

You HJT log does not look bad, but I still see items that may not need to be running, of course I can't know what you use on a daily basis. Look at the O4 - HKLM\..\Run: as items you might be able to turn off in MSConfig and run manually in All Programs when needed.

The defrag will do the computer good, I would like to do a couple more things if it is ok with you.

Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

I can offer those suggestions, but I see no "malware", you may want to look over the list to remove stuff you no longer use.
