I don't see anything malicious in your log, and Panda showed only cookies and what looks to be a false positive for Pest Patrol. Are you having specific problems? If so, please tell me what they are. :)

Thanks for answering. The computer has suddenly slowed w-a-y down. Opening up and shutting off are taking 4 times as long as they used to. And the computer is crashing regularly. It didn't do that before.

I've been religious about updating with Spybot and Ad-Aware, I just started using AVG for virus protection am continuing with ZoneAlarm Pro for a firewall. The browser we use is primarily Firefox. Sometimes (rarely) IE if the site won't work with Firefox.

The slowness and crashes drive me crazy. I also wonder why there's still something in there for Symantec when I uninstalled Norton???

The Norton uninstall tool uninstalls ALL Norton 2004/2005/2006 products from your computer. It also uninstalls Norton Ghost 10.0/9.0/2003. http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039

After a reboot, post a new HijackThis log so I can see that all the remnants are gone. Also, let's have a scan to see what might be lurking. You'll have to drag up IE for this, sorry. I know how that feels....I use FF and hide IE as deep as I can.:laugh:

Please go Here to run Panda's ActiveScan. http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm
Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button

A new window will open...click the Check Now button.
Enter your State/Providence
Enter your E-mail address and click send.
Select either Home user or Company.

Click the big Scan Now button

* If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
* It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a few minutes)

When the download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan.

When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save report and save it to a convenient location (activescan.txt to desktop).
Post the contents of the ActiveScan report, please.
