Hello Laura and welcome to the forum. Please be sure you have reviewed this information: "BEFORE you POST" Mandatory Steps Before Requesting Assistance http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All logs should be copy/pasted into topic and not attached unless requested by helper in that format. You may hold the online virus scan report for now, since it appears it was Smitfraud, we may not need it.
It appears that Smitfraudfix was able to remove the infection.
Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1 Scan saved at 2:59:48 PM, on 3/16/2007I am not seeing any malware in this log, how is the computer running?
I suggest a good cleaning: run cleanmgr
http://spyware-free.us/tutorials/cleanmgr/
or
Here is a nice freeware tool to do it for you if you wish:
http://forums.security-central.us/showthread.php?t=1925
Since you did have the infection and your System Restore files may well have been corrupted, I suggest you do this:
Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
Reboot
Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
Thanks
