About a month ago I ran a scan with spybot and it found a filed named "log". Spybot labled this in green, so this wasn't deemed a serious threat. In the description section it stated something like the file would not be removed but would be moved another location to keep hackers form finding the information. Now I can't even get Spybot to find this file in a scan at all, but it is still there. One of the files that I can find is called "SchedLgU" I can open it with notepad. It seems to be logging information about the "task scheduler service". It will give dates and times for start and exit. Most of the times and dates are in the middle of the night when I have all of my updates scheduled....Anti-virus, Windows Update...etc. No other anti-spyware program will find it in a scan. I've tried some of the highest recommended anti-spyware programs, like Pandasoftware...according to my friends...it found nothing related to the file or files I'm describing. Any ideas??

Hello.

Please produce a *complete* Spybot bug report:

Open Spybot-S&D and start a scan ("check for problems"). After the scan, right-click in the results field and choose either "Save full report to file..." or
"Copy full report to clipboard".

Attach the file (or copy the report) to the email and send it to: detections(at)spybot.info (Replace AT with @)

Include the link back to this topic: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=12249

Cheers.

Unfortunately, Spybot won't find this file in a scan anymore. I tried uninstalling Spybot to resovle the problem (supposedly spybot would've conflicted with the Pandasoftware that I downloaded to fix the problem) when I reinstalled Spybot, stopped finding this item in a scan....if that makes sense.

I was finally able to get this to come up in a scan by clicking on "scan for usage tracks". Sorry but I don't feel comfortable about sending people I don't know scan results about my PC.
