I have a computer that cannot load web pages. The OS is XP Home, SP2. The browser reports The page cannot be displayed. I can view web pages in safe mode with networking. The computer is a Compaq laptop. Here is my HJT log. I would appreciate someone taking a look for me.

Welcome to the forum, if you still need help and are not receiving it elsewhere, I first need to say that since I see no anti-virus scan results you must have missed this information: "BEFORE you POST" Mandatory Steps Before Requesting Assistance

all instructions, you may hold the antivirus scan, I will let you know if I need it.

A look at your HJT log is showing me only a badly out of date Java program, it is just a matter of time before that gets you infected if it has not already, see this information:

C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\ <<< out of date, install the newest version and uninstall all old version in Add Remove programs.

Since this is most often cause by other reasons besides malware, let's rule them out before we start running scans and such, especially since you have mentioned no other symptoms. Look here first:
