I apologize if this question has been answered multiple times on this board. I've read through several threads; and I'm not understanding the rather complex explanations and fixes. (Granted, I'm not the sharpest....)
Anyway, I have a computer that is pretty much useless right now. The only software I have to remove problems of this nature is S&D. When I run it - it finds several problems. I click 'fix' - and it removes all problems except something under the Smitfraud-c. box. When I reboot and re-run S&D - ALL the 'bad stuff' is back! I guess it's re-installing itself or something.
HELP???? In really simple layman / idiot terms.... what can I do? I need the 'push this button right here' sort of instructions. :) I GREATLY appreciate any help.
