PC takes 10 minutes to fully boot, and is very sluggish

I have run numerous AV and Anti Spyware and adware programs, but the system is still extremely slow, taking more than ten minutes to fully boot. Toshiba 2.8ghz Celeron, 1GB Ram and 40gb HDD with 27gb of free space.

Spysweeper found A Topconverter Downloader Trojan and Adware that was something like SearchWeb. But they were already quarantined by Norton 360.

Welcome to the forum, if you have not resolved these issues elsewhere I will see what I can do.

For your information, Viewpoint is installed by aol probably without your knowledge. I suggest you uninstall this resource waster in Add Remove programs.

Spysweeper is a good program but it uses a load of resources, if you do not own the program I would uninstall it, especially if the trial is over.

You can hold the antivirus scan, I see no malware in the HJT log but I may need it later. Norton is also a big resource user but you need to have antivirus protection running.
